• Yes it does. I would deactivate the onboard router on the CGM4331COM so that there would not be conflict between the two.

• Yes, that modem does have ethernet ports. As long as the ISP/Modem is giving internet to a device plugged into one of those ports, yes, the eero will work. The Head/gateway eero will hardwire into the modem, the eero will make its own wifi network. Other eero can connect to that gateway eero either wirelessly or wired and will broadcast the same wifi network.
