The one upstairs should work but I think the garage is pushing the limits, unless you can hardwire it!

Signal is full strength everywhere for me. 2400 share foot home is covered perfectly. Not sure about a metal shop though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you will need to have one eero hardwired to the modem, this will be the head/gateway eero, it will create a wireless network for your devices. The other eero can be connected to the gateway eero (either wired or wirelessly) and they will broadcast the same wifi network. 100 ft may be too far for the wireless signal to reach. We would recommend setting up the garage eero in the house, get it online (solid white led) and then move it to the garage, if it doesn't get a connection there try moving one of the house eero closer to the garage. If that doesn't work you may need a point to point wireless bridge or run an ethernet cable between the two.
