So, technically, no you can not use one eero as an extender to a non-eero network. You may be able to set up one eero as your primary router and use your existing router as a repeater unless it’s a combo unit (modem & router). Your existing router would need to have the features to do this or be compatible with DD-WRT firmware. Your best option is to just spend a little bit more and get the 3 pack. This will allow you to set up a proper mesh system. Hope this helps!

In a nutshell you dump your current wifi (I had to call my cable company and tell them turn mine off) and plug this into your modem. Then download the app and about 2 minutes later you'll have internet speeds that'll blow your mind. 1 pod will cover about 1500 square feet. I bought the set of 3 for my house (about 1800 sq ft) and I literally have not had any devices drop, freeze, buffer... nothing. Eero also has a 24hr customer service line that's extremely helpful. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
