• We have 3 laptop computers, 3 tablets, a Nintendo Switch & 3 phones which we use everyday. This system works perfectly on all of our devices. We have absolutely no problems connecting to the wifi. Plus it was extremely easy to set up.

• A modem would be needed as well but yes. These work better in multiples which create a mesh (or grid) of reliable wi-fi. On its own the coverage area is severely diminished.
