• This is just a router. You have to have internet service from a provider.

• No you need an internet connection - wifi allows u to use electronic devices needing an internet connection elsewhere this product is a wifi extender it allowed me to access internet faster and all over my house on tv's phone tablets and laptop when before I had dead zones
