Personally, I wouldn't go with Linksys and with Netgear there are extra costs we found for getting support etc after I think even 90 days. Could be wrong but I think its 90 days. We're persevering with Eero. It works really well, just making sure other stuff works with it. Parental controls are ok and we are sure they will get better
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They are really different. The eero pro 6 doesn’t have the technology around beam forming and such that the Linksys and Orbi have. I had and returned my MX 10 for the eero pro 6. But since then I have found the wifi performance from the exact same distances to be 1/2 of what I got from the MX 10 and I am only using 2 of the eero routers since they interfere with each and reduce performance even more. The good thing is the eero software is great compared to the Linksys and the eero works with all my devices out if the box which is necessary since you cannot control much of anything settings-wise with the eero so if it doesn’t work with a device you need it probably never will. Stability is the same, the eero reboots once a week and the Linksys was roughly the same. The eero does reboot very quickly though which is a benefit.
