“I have Verizon FIOS internet which does not us a modem only a router. Does one cube plug directly into the the wall or do I still need the router”

• I connected the "base station" (the first of the eero 6s) directly into my modem with the ethernet cable and then set-up the wifi network from there-- no router needed. The eero app was straightforward and easy to use.

• FIOS still uses a modem per say, as it has a security token. that being said can place it in bridge mode and use these but you will have to keep the FIOS modem.
