• It does work. The direct cable out runs at 230. WiFi at the worst is 36 and the best at 180. Probably could use one more unit. Large home multi floor.

• Not sure if that is possible. We have Charter Spectrum. We kept their modem but replaced the router with the eero router. It does have and option for a guest WiFi which runs on 2.4Ghz.
