• Yes, you will still need a modem. This is just a router that needs to be able to communicate to your ISP.

• Yes. eero is a WiFi system. But if you want internet access, you'll still need an ISP and modem.

• Yes, this product is a router so you still need a modem. Sometimes people have combination modem/routers and in that case these replace and improve the functionality built into the modem.

• Yes, you need a modem. Turn off the wifi if it has a built in router. Your options are Automatic, Manual IP or Bridge mode. With full bridge mode they say you loose some of the system features.
