These are fantastic speakers! I don't know what a 2.1 amp is but I have an 80 watt 2 channel 1990's vintage Sony ES integrated amp that easily drives these 6 ohm speakers. I've never gone over 1/3 volume and I've found these speakers surprisingly efficient and easy to drive. Though these speakers have decent bass, I use an SVS sub with them and am extremely happy with the set up.
