• Hi LDCB! Thank you for reaching out. The Electrolux dryer model ELFG7437AW does not need to have a pedestal and can absolutely be used without one. It is designed as a free-standing unit and comes with leveling legs that allow it to be placed directly on the floor or on a laundry room surface. - Patrick
