What is the manufacturer age suggestion null

I gave snap circuits 500 to my 9 year old grandson...he loved it. He couldn't keep his 11 year old sister away...so they shared different parts of the set. Both are good readers and have done a lot of legos, so they loved snapping the circuits together and building things... following the directions point to point was not difficult. My grandson said they had the 100 snap circuits in school when he was in 2nd grade.
