Yes you can use a tripod, it does NOT come with one, just the Facecam, Lens Cap, grip mount for a monitor, and Usb cable. You can use the Digital Zoom Slider on the PC, i would stay within a few feet for best quality. It is called a "facecam" for a reason lol
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1. No, you dont need a tripod. It will perch on your monitors bezel. If you want a tripod and/or to be on the go, remember, its wired, and youd be better off with a GoPro for that. In fact, I have a GoPro Hero 8 and I am very happy with it as a backup, 2. Absolutely not 50 feet. You are thinking of a proper camera, not a webcam. Sorry. Get a DSLR. An iPhone cant even really handle 50 feet the way I think you want it to. Therte is a pro model of this though. Go to Elgato's website, itll be helpful to see what kind of situations this is for.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not have a tripod but you can hook it up to one. It does have zoom but will not autofocus. At 50 feet the image would be shaky. It’s designed with streaming in mind (so up close shots)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The camera does not come with a tripod but it does have the compatibility to be mounted to one. As for your 2nd question, this camera has a set focus (no DOF option) and has a digital focus zoom which degrades the more you zoom in. I wouldn't recommend this if you want to use at a distance of 50 feet, webcams in general aren't marketed for that distance as they are mostly mounted on top of your monitor. You will need something like a DSLR or a mirrorless camera with a optical zoom for the best quality at that distance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi PHILray, This does not have a tripod, but uses a standard tripod connection point. This camera is more aimed for use as a close up webcam. Please contact our support team directly and we'd be happy to help you with your setup: support.elgato.com -Brian
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No tripod. You can attack any standard tripod to it. It has zoom but it's digital. Also, be advised there's no focus options since it's primarily made for face.
