• PS3’s do use HDMI. So in theory, yes. Personally I haven’t used this exact model for PS3. But I did used to have a different elgato for my PS3. You do need to be aware that you need a PC and a proper PCIe slot open on your motherboard to use this specific elgato.

• You'd need an adapter to bypass HDCP but we don't sell that, I'm afraid. However, you can definitely use PS3 although with that caveat. -Art
