There wouldn’t be a reason to use this as a capture source of media on the actual computer because you can do that with a program downloaded on the computer. This sends the display from an outside connected source to a program on your computer.

Please try again later.If you want to stream or screen record something on your PC (ie a game), you can use a software like OBS (Open Broadcast Software) which is free to use and offers streaming/screen recording. The HD60S is effective at capturing something other than your PC, that is putting out hdmi, and allowing you to receive the video/stream on your PC for editing etc. So this is good if you are playing XBOX, for example, and want to record or stream the gameplay.
