Yes, the light can mount to a standard tripod mount plate. That is how I use it currently. The bottom of the light has standard 1/4-20 UNC threads (as does the camera mount in the light).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is a telescopic extension and is nonremovable. The same applies to the clamp, but you can remove the light by itself and attach it to a tripod via the 1/4" female thread on the bottom of the light.
