An XLR mic will enhance the audio a lot and Elgato's own software (wave link) has several features to improve audio such as Noise Suppression and Gain control. I would also focus on the room as well. To improve the room's acoustics there are several types of foam you can buy (or even make at home cheaper) that can greatly improve room acoustics with little work that a quick google search or youtube video could explain much better.

They work really well about dampening the noise. My wife even said that she didn’t want to be in that room because it gave her anxiety. I also threw down some carpet.
