• Instruction says non-stick. Do not use metal utensils or cut food inside. Use Plastic, Nylon or wooden utensils.

• I do not remember the coating name but any food left on easily washes off. I have not noticed any scratching as I use a teflon cleaning sponge. The cover washs up easily also.

• Not exactly sure what the coating is . It would appear to be Scratch proof. I have used it many times and it still looks like new!
