• That depends more on the strength/brightness of your projector. I have used this inside with natural and artificial lights and have still been able to see the image, but that's because I was using a fairly bright projector. I've also used it with a weaker projector and it's nearly impossible to see the image on the screen. So make sure you get a projector with lots of lumens if you're planning on using it mostly with the lights on.

• The quality of the picture is more dependant on the brightness of your projector than with the screen. This will give you a better image than displaying it on a white wall but it will not make it brighter.
