Standard Lithium-Ion batteries degrade over time and we have designed the Ember to allow the battery to last as long as possible. While exact battery life can vary depending on an individuals use, each Ember comes with a one year warranty and if you experience any difficulty, please let us know and we’d be happy to help!

QuestionIs the copper mug steel or coated against your lips? I do not like to drink out of steel/metal and prefer a finish similar to the Gen 1. I know both the black and white Gen 2 are coated but not sure about the copper.

QuestionWhy won't anyone answer the question "is the battery replaceable?". People aren't asking how long it holds a charge they want to know how long it lasts (long term) before you have to throw the mug away IF you can't replace the battery?! Simple question.

QuestionIs the battery replaceable? If yes, how much does it cost? How long will the battery keep the coffee hot? Assuming that it has a temperature controller, what is the range? If the battery is dead, can the cup be microwaved?

- Answer I have had it keep my coffee hot for 1 hour at 130 degrees. Be wary though lattes will develop a skin on top die to the heat.

- Answer Looks like metal to me. Cant use it in microwave or dishwasher. Instructions seems to be in short supply. Comes set at 135, use the app on phone to adjust. Set mine to max at 145. Bottom line I love it, suits my sipping style over the morning.

- Answer I have been drinking my coffee and tea out of white mugs for over 30 years now and never before have I seen a mug stain as badly as my white Ember mug. I always wash it out after every use and even when I use a sponge with an abrasive side, I have to scrub it really hard and stains still remain. The result is now that my mug has terrible scratches on the inside where the white enamel has worn away. My understanding was that this mug was chip resistant, durable and hard- wearing. I have returned the mug to the supplier and would like to replace it with another colour….my question is….which colour is best? Do the others stain as badly? Which colour is most durable and most scratch resistant?
