• I've use it to reheat and by the time I ran my coffee and put my left-overs away the food was hot.

• Yes. It has a reheat setting. I've used it and the food comes out like I just cooked it.

• I guess yes, more like a little oven... depending on food, it would take more time than a microwave for sure...
