“Who is the manufacturer of this item? A box I looked at in a local Best Buy store did not have any info on it as to who made it and where...I guess China.”

It’s definitely made in China. We had one that broke and it took a bit of research to find the manufacture. There is no contact information I could find for them though. It works good enough to have purchased another though. Hope this helps.
