“I bought the fryer and love it my only concern is it does not get food hot I reheated a piece of eggplant at 400 for nine minutes and it still was not hot is there something that I’m doing wrong or could the unit be defective”

I would like to believe that ur unit is defective. I haven't had any issues in regards to any preheating my food. I will pay attention next time I use my unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Quick question. Did you preheat the unit before inserting the eggplant? Preheating will eliminate the time required to reach the desired temperature, which could take several minutes.

Please try again later.The default reheat setting is 320 for 15 minutes, the oven does take a few minutes to heat up to the correct temperature so if you were using 400 degrees it would take a few minutes to heat up to that temperature first then you'd need to add your reheating time. You would want to go at least 15 minutes to allow for the oven to hit the temperature plus reheat the food.
