QuestionMy AC unit has been making a crackling noise, similar to a fire pit crackle. Maybe there's something stuck inside of the AC or maybe a malfunction. Any idea on how to solve this issue? It's been keeping me up at night & now I sleep with ear plugs.

QuestionHow do you clean this unit. This is second year to be used and it is not cooling properly. Any suggestions would be appreciated

- Answer I just put it in the window with no cover. If you want to cover it feel free to do so. As far as cleaning just keep the air filter clean check it once a month and you should have a trouble free air conditioner

QuestionWhy does it require a 23 inch window width, when the unit is so much smaller than that?!? I have a twenty inch wide window opening - shouldn’t this product work?

- Answer They are allowing room for the accordian sides louvers. Simply cut them down to the point they will fit. Perhaps just using (1) side will do it. Or eliminate both of them and use window sealing foam. Or if you have questions just message me through this Question/Answer forum. Good Luck !!!! Grand National Mike
