• Yes, this flash drive will allow you to move data from one computer to another. Please be aware that on this particular flash drive the middle part slides back and fourth which exposes the Type-C and Type-A connectors.

• This device looks like any other USB drive to your computer. So anything you could move with a thumb drive you can move with this. I'd say it can do what you want, with the exception of things that are not accessible for other reasons. I have used it to move pictures and files.
