This model will stop charging once the batteries are fully charged.

It has an auto shut off, once the batteries are fully charged it will stop charging them. I leave at least 2 AA batteries on the charger so I can have a set fully charged for my Xbox One Elite controller whenever I need them. The light indicator on the front will let you know when its charging and when it's done.

not sure. for me the light stayed on until I removed the batteries. I am not sure if that means it was still charging or had stopped.
