• If you are referring to the pop out drive for DVD or other discs it has one. It should take the smaller disc as well as standard size. Have not used a disc yet. This laptop replaces a 4 year old 17.3 “ HP and at this point I am very pleased it. Much faster than older one.

• It does not have an additional bay but does have space for an M.2 SSD.
