Sorry, no, there is no fingerprint reader.

No, unlike many other HP laptops and notebooks on the market, this laptop does not come with a fingerprint reader. It does come with the standard with: -The traditional password unlock option -A pin option instead of a password (this is much like a ATM or debit card) -Windows Hello which actually unlocks your computer with a scanned image your face With all of that it rends the need for a fingerprint reader a little bit obsolete unless you really need one or have other intentions than just unlocking your computer.
