Do yourself a favor and do a clean install of windows 10. Just Google Windows 10 .iso download, choose your version (Home or Pro - This will show along with your product key using a free program called Showkeyplus). Anyway, that will automatically install all the latest updates if you connect it to a network while installing. There may be a few restarts required to get All the updates done, but a clean slate is always the best way to go with a new store bought PC. That way you can just install what you want/need and you won't have any bloatware slowing you down or messing with your updates. I also recommend the free version of Avast anti-virus. It's lightweight in terms of resource utilization and doesn't seem to interfere with Windows updates. Lastly, if you're still having problems, try turning off sleep mode and "fast start-up" in windows control panel (power options - choose what the power buttons do - change settings that are currently unavailable), just uncheck those boxes and that will alleviate a lot of windows update issues. I'd go on about the why, but just give it a shot.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
