do they hold more ink ? null

Not sure if they actually hold more ink, but they do last longer. I get more pages per cartridge than the previous Epson 126 high yield cartridge I used. I tried refilling the cartridges but I was not happy with the quality Using these I get extended number of pages and quality. For the quality I am willing to pay a little more. I purchase both the black and the colors. I print mostly in black and white and rarely in color. Still I find the black cartridge lasts longer.

Yes they hold more ink than the standard cartridge.

Absolutely, that's why the size for this cartridge is XL.

This is the highest capacity black ink cartridge currently to my knowledge.

I don’t know the technical amount but yes you will definitely notice a prolonged amount of time between purchasing a new cartridge if you get the XL

I think they do. I print a lot of reports and they sure seem to last a fair amount of time

They hold the same amount of ink, but the usage per page is less. Therefore one is suppose to get more printing out if it. For this Epson charges LOT more for the High Capacity ink cartridge. I just don't see the savings Epson claims we get...

Yes. Epson 127XL Ink (Black) Cartridges Double Capacity.

Certainly more prints than the standard cartridge, but I'd be lying if I said I kept count or that it's near what they claim...but I do notice I need to buy them less frequently when going with the XL cartridge.
