I gave up on this ink. Not worth the hassle and wasted money.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Think it uses all colors and blends to make black. Same problem. Always replacing colors and black lasts 3 times longer. The colors are only regular as black is xl
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will print temporarily with just black but you will eventually have to buy more color ink.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This printer cleans itself often. It'll suck the color ink dry cleaning even if you never print color. So for the most mileage, enable full color mode unless the color inks are empty.,
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as the colored ink are full and doesn't demand you to change a color cartridge you can print just black.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.YES , YES the ink evaporates and then when you're ready no ink or a reminder to buy new cartridges just get a toner printer type its already dry no drying out you'll thank me later.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It was my understanding that Epson uses some kind of a Numbering or countdown system...it counts color ink usage for every print job whether you print in black/white, or color. It is counting down even though you're not using the color cartridges. That's what I understood from about a year ago.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can print in monochrome mode.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the printer cannot work in just back and white. What you can do, is set your default printer to Black\Grey Scale, and buy the XL cartridge, and only switch to color when needed. It is frustrating, though each of the manufacturers all black mail us into purchasing additional toner when it really isn't technically needed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nope
