Call Epson directly; they are always so helpful with issues concerning their Printers. Log on and register your printer so they will recognize it when you talk to them

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try checking to see if your printer needs a software update. If so, process the update and then check again. Also, sometimes removing the cartridge and reinstalling it may cause the new cartridge to be recognized.

Not sure if it's easy to contact Epson, but that might be the best way to go. Have you tried taking out the cartridge and reinserting it to make sure it's seated properly?
