I wasn't sure that spending what I did on an ink cartridge this big would be worth it, but I have to say it's been a great decision. I love knowing that the inkwell is bigger, and looking back I'd say the cost isn't too bad. For me it's hard to spend money on something like printer ink. Why? Because it's not a DVD/Blu-ray, video game, or something that's going to be "fun" to use. But when you print anything ever it's a necessary evil, and in my house has become a commodity like gold. Now that we have such a larger ink cartridge, though, I feel like I have to worry less about the ink running out and having to spend money on a replacement.

When I ordered the ink cartridge my ink was low I expected normal delivery to take 4-5 days not nine. When I found order still in a pending status I tried to change order to pickup at store. I couldn't do that or cancel order I was now out of ink. I decided to order another cartridge and pickup in store. I got my confirmation email and was going have my wife pick up the ink cartridge. My wife got to the store she didn't have my charge card so she had to put it on hers? They had the paper I ordered but not the ink cartridge I ordered. I canceled the order and placed one with office depot. In less than an hour I had a new ink cartridge.. i DO NOT WANT TO REPEAT THIS EXPERIENCE.

This high yield black cartridge is made by Epson, the manufacturer of the printer in which I use it. From a physical fit perspective, it fits like it should. The printer recognizes it as a manufacturer cartridge and uses it without a problem as opposed to recognizing it as a non-manufacturer cartridge and asking if I am sure that I want to use it. It is black ink. It prints black as opposed to some shade of grey.

This genuine EPSON ink produces good color, but like nearly ALL inkjet printers, the estimated number of prints the manufacturers publish are a work of fiction; with typical documents and typical duty cycles for the home user, you'll normally get less than HALF of what the ad copy leads you to expect. Sometimes I get about a quarter of what I should; I think the automatic cleaning procedures programmed into the machine use more ink - a LOT more ink - than people realize.

There really isn't too much to say about an OEM ink cartridge, just having a high capacity one available is the biggest thing. With this cartridge the cost per page for B&W test printing drops down into the sub 5 cents per page range you expect from lasers but seldom actually see from ink jet printers. Cheap enough that mystery ink refills from unknown vendors can be avoided without sucking your wallet dry. Other than that, what's to say? It's black ink in a cartridge that fits the printers it's made for...

Purchased this black Epson 252 recently and have never had probs before w this item. Since I installed a couple of weeks back, all copies and printed docs come out faded and sometimes with black lines on them. I don’t have receipt so assumed I was out of luck—can I please bring back w/o my receipt and exchange for another one to try?

My Epson Workforce 3620 printed great when I first got it but lately print quality has degraded. Running all the cleaning functions didn't help and the documentation suggested trying a new print cartridge. The print cartridge was easy to install but it did nothing to alleviate the poor print quality. I've since read that Epsons have problems with the print heads clogging. I won't buy one again. But if you need ink for your existing Epson, this will work.

I have tried many aftermarket inks and refillers and sadly, the factory inks just work better. Doesn't matter if it's Epson or HP. They got us. Sell a printer for 80 bucks then spend the lifetime of that printer buying overpriced ink. This ink is what it is. They state higher capacity but none ever really last as long as you'd like. This product does perform well and the sharpness is great as well as the blends.
