“Do you need to replace all ink cartridges to print a black and white paper? This is for my XP-430”

• no you only need to change the cartridges that the printer prompt you to change, however when you buy the mix of color package you will save lots of money for later when your printer prompt you to change the colored ones .

• Yes, but you need to set is to black and white print and leave the empty color cartridges in.

• Not entirely sure about the XP-430 but in my printer I would need to replace all the ink cartiedges in order to get the printer to work. Even just for an all black print.
