“We ran out of ink in our rosin printer, (black) so we bought a new 1 and put it in and now it won’t work, am I forgetting to do something? The thing of it is, the colored works just not the black”

run the cleaning application on the printer and also make sure the ink cartridge is locked down and has charged after installation. Also run the test page a few times it sometimes takes a few prints to get the ink cycling after running it out of ink.
