“I have an epson 440 XP printer...it takes ink replacement 200. The printer won't recognize the cartridge with the number 200 imprinted on the cartridge. All the other cartridges carry the number 288. What is this all about?”

I have the same printer but mine says it takes the 288 cartridge...I would check the back of the ink box at the store...Sometimes they are compatible but it doesnt say in your manual for the printer..Best advice ..check the box at the store ...hope it helps

I'm very annoyed since I already opened the box for the 200 and spent $40 for it. Is this something new? I swear I've always bought 200 in the past...
