• Hello Mizzou. All Epson printer models that use Epson 302 Ink Cartridges require Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, and Photo Black for functionality. Using Black Ink only will not work in the printer. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.

• I tried that (just black) and it didn’t work, you would need the yellow as well.
