“Can any of the printers with ink tanks use any brand of ink when refilling the tanks? Like the Epson ET-2760 Ecotank printer use a different brand of ink and is put in those refill bottles, then inserted? Same for the Canon pixma G6020 tank printer?”

It's not recommended. It would be hard to do, since the different manufacturers and different product numbers have different head types on the bottles, and if you get any ink to flow from the bottle into the tank at all, you might wind up with a mess on the floor.
