“What happens if you don't use the printer enough and the ink gets old? Is there a way to get rid of the old ink and replace with new after a couple of years?”

I have had my color ink dry-up and clog the head. There are ways to unclog it on You Tube, but now, I made a Word document with all of the Base colors and I print that each week to keep the heads clear.

However, the ink will continue to perform as designed for the life of the ink. Different variables can impact ink longevity, such as usage and environmental factors. Therefore, we recommend frequently doing maintenance such as nozzle check printouts and head cleanings to help avoid ink clogging and prolong the printer's life.
