I have found it necessary to connect via USB because the wireless capability times out every time I try to print something. So, for me, this isn't a wireless printer. Just a sad, slow, unreliable printer I have to plug into every time I want to print something. Even with the USB cable, the printer times out and partially prints pages before spitting them out.
