Hello poybenp. The LS500 can be placed at a maximum distance of 23 inches from the screen. You want to ensure that it is positioned squarely in front of the center of the screen and avoid mounting it on a ceiling as it could fall and cause damage or injury. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
