• I have the unit in an enclosed room and don't find the fan noise to be excessive or disturbing.

• Hello revbarry. The LS500 can produce a brightness level of 4000 lumens in both color and white. Light Output settings allow you to control the power from 50 to 100% based on your brightness preference. The higher your brightness is, the more power it will generate, therefore producing more heat. This setting can have a direct impact on the fan noise as more heat requires more cooling.
