“What else do I need to purchase with this? I have a Macbook and want to purchase this projector. I see that it comes with a USB and VGA cable, but do I need anything else to start watching movies on it? I'm seeing some people say that it needs to be connected with an HDMI cord. Anyone have suggestions on which HDMI or does it matter? Thanks!”

It has an internal speaker but for the total experience you need a sound system. Spend the extra if you can. You won't be sorry.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.HDMI is always the best cable quality to watch movies through... if you can I would watch with HDMI. Just remember you need an adapter with Mac to connect to the HDMI cord!
