- Answer I connected my HDMI cord from my cable box (that was normally connected to my TV) into the projector and the image was as good as my television. I felt like I was in the movie theaters. I am still experimenting with how I can also use my surround system with the projector. If your main purpose is to watch movies, you may be better off purchasing projectors made for viewing movies as opposed to this one. I know those projectors have more connection options (more audio connections, HDMI, etc.)
