I have not searched for scanning directly to email, and that might work with some email clients and not others, AND based on whether you have setup a "default" email client on your computer? (1) If you mean opening an email and them being able to select a scan option from within the email client (such as Outlook or Thunderbird) this can be an issue with them as much as compatibility with the Epson software. (2) Scanning works perfectly for me, so I just scan as a pdf or Word formatted doc and then attach the scanned doc to my email message, and that works fine.
