“I've heard some printers with the "auto re-order enabled" require email, address, and credit card information to get the printer running, regardless as to if you intend to use the auto refill or not. Is that required with this printer?”

I was able to use this printer for scan/copy/printing directly from my phone and other mobile devices without the printer touching the internet or having to enter any sort of information into it directly or from another device. So the auto refill feature is optional.
