Yes but they didn't last as long as the newer ones do. I don't think they are full. Recommend buying at least another Black cartridge if you print a lot of worded material.

Yes, the printer arrives with a set of 3 color cartridges and 1 black. These cartridges are what are called an " i " cartridge. The "i " means "initial". The definition of INITIAL is that it is an adjective meaning "existing or occurring at the beginning." My best guess is that these cartridges are just minimally filled. I would consider the "i" designation as a fair warning and/or courtesy from Epson, and would not rely on being able to do more than just begin to get acquainted with the printer. In the future, if you 're not buying authentic Epson replacement cartridges, do be aware that some sellers designate the cartridges that contain less ink by putting an "i" in front of the name. When shopping on line for replacements, I personally found it easy to overlook that little "i", and almost bought the lesser filled ones by accident. The on line photos of the filled cartridges and the " i " cartridges look identical. Beware! and do wear your glasses! : )
