“Will this work wirelessly with A MacBook Pro (os10.9.5) WITHOUT a router? Just with "ad-hoc" network. (wi-fi turned on on the laptop and printer). My old Epson Artisan 810 does this. No router necessary. What about this one? Also, does it print envelopes?”

Hello Mocker99. Yes, the XP-5200 supports printing on No.10 envelopes. The printer can be set up and used via Wi-Fi direct mode without requiring a wireless router or access point, and the printer itself will act as a network access point for up to 8 devices. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
