“I'm needing a printer for an event in a couple months. I'll need to print 30 8"x10" pages. Will the ink cartridges that ship with the printer be able to cover that amount? I'm asking because I know some printers will ship "starter" sets of inks.”

Yes these are starter and it would be close, especially if you print in color.
