“I see it comes with a CD for setup. Can it be setup and connected to WiFi from its own control panel without connecting to a PC or Mac and using the CD? I am using a Samsung Galaxy Tab, not a Windows or iOs machine.”

If you download the Epson app you don’t need to be connected to a computer.
